yes, and if you buy them, you have been screwed by the manufacturer.
tough luck.
usb on these devices is a gimmick, nothing more. it is ok and convenient
if you want to use just one device, but it's not a good idea to build a
studio from three or more usb devices. if somebody made you believe that
when you bought yours, yell at them, not ardour developers.

hell, even very low budget musicians can afford decent quality mics
after flipping a few burgers. it's not that there is nothing under 100$
anymore. but you should have spent the money you apparently spent on
multiple USB gadgets on standard microphones and a simple multichannel
card instead.

or buy a used mac and use the coreaudio aggregate device with multiple
usbs. you are in for a world of pain, but judging from your earlier
mails, that's precisely what you're looking for.

final remark: don't you think it's kind of ridiculous to pull the
low-class vs. elitist card on this list? most people here have
contributed sizable amounts of work to the commons, for free, in the
form of code, documentation, workshops etc, which is available to YOU.
the proper way of responding is to either shut up and go elsewhere or
show at least some appreciation.
maybe you can try the phone support line of your vendor of choice next
time you need to let off some steam.
