[Ardour-Users] stem export

Hi

I can't make File->Export->Stem export do as I expect. Whatever I try I 
get emty or 44 byte (header I guess) wav files. The manual doesn't seem 
to go into much detail 
(https://community.ardour.org/manual/interchange_stem), so I'm wondering 
if anyone else has problems with stem export, or there's something I 
need to be aware of.

I'm running 3.5.143...
