Not directly but sadly accents in track names can still cause severe
problems.

Jean Luc recently had lots of issues due to using an "é" (ardour3 on
OSX). All tracks after the one containing with an é in the track-name
were no longer visible on the mixer after a session reload.

some ASCII made things work again: the tracks and files showed up again.

Ardour localization still has along way to go... The only advice I can
give there right now: Learning English is easier than learning Ardour :)
