OK.  So, given that there's 87G free disk space on that partition here
(I'm being cynical) that in other words there are no problems in saving
a file and given that all sessions are saving OK for the /recorded/
tracks (never mlosta  recorded track) (*), the problem could somehow be
related to (*).

(*) This Ardour version does not solve the problem with Ardour not
finding some files at start up.  See "File error on new session" and
"File error" threads, that one from March this year.  Although for the
mixer window test I used a session that does NOT show these file error
problems.  Is it related ?  No idea.  The session I used for the test
doe snot show any file error so it should be business as usual.  Some
time ago I joked that it could be because I use the French version.
Now I wonder.  Could it be that a translated string somehow
unexpecdetly overwrites a buffer ?
