[Ardour-Users] can't export two selected regions

I don't think you want Region->Export.  Select the portion of the 
song you want to export as a range, and then in the Export dialog, 
click "Time span and channel options" in the lower left corner.  That
will open more options, including the option to export the session or
the selection.  Choose selection (and uncheck the session - I'm not sure
why you can have both chosen at once) and hit export.

When you choose Region->Export, you'll get just that region, there's 
no way to mix it with another.    Doing a range selection export will
get you the full mix as you expect.

I generally set the stop and start points in a session to be the beginning
and end points I want for the song (assuming I do one song per Ardour 
session) and then I don't have to worry about selecting the range every 
time.
