[Ardour-Users] Ardour3 CPU load is very high

Hi,

A few days ago I bought Ardour3 3.1-10 for Ubuntu 12.4 x64. I'm using jack
at 96KHz, 64 samples, and 4 buffer. Most programs use about 5% to 8% of DSP
each but Ardour with 4 audio tracks uses about 50% of DSP. Each track
increases the DSP load by aprox. 10% even thou they are disconnected and
jack is not playing anything. I haven't tried lower sample frequencies yet
but I think the DSP load is quite high. I would like to know if that is
normal, there is a possible config problem or there is a bug. I have tried
with different CPU configs in Ardour3 without any difference. If I don't
use Ardour3 the DSP load in jack is below 40% with 5 programs running.

I have an I7 procesor 1.9GHz, 8 cores and 8GB of RAM. Thanks in advance.
