[Ardour-Users] Ardour and Blender VSE synced up through Jack

Hi,

I am making some tests for editing sound tracks in Ardour, synced up with
Blender video editor. I am not sure where I can ask this, on Ardour ml,
Blender one, or Jack one, so I try here first. :-)

It mostly works, in the fact that if I start the playback in one or the
other editor, it plays in both, except that:

- I can't seek with the mouse.
If I do try, in both Blender and Ardour, the playback cursor immediately
moves back to where it was just before.

- normally Blender would loop through the frame sequence (in between
"start" and "end", set in the timeline window). I would expect that it
still does it when I sync up with Ardour (this way I can check-out a small
piece of video/audio in loop). But it doesn't anymore.

Blender playback would stop at the end of the sequence; whereas Ardour
would continue, while the play and stop buttons go crazy, alternatively
lighting on and off in green.
When it happens, I have to stop the playback, then restart it in Ardour
(whatever I do in Blender at this point makes any difference, it's stuck).
Sometimes it does not do it immediately, so I have to try again.

Blender v 2.64 and Ardour 2.8.12.

What is the problem? How can I get back expected behavior?
Thank you very much! :-)

Jehan
