Objet : [Ardour-Users] Audio drive ?

Hi all,

Is it recommended, while using ardour, to have a separate hard drive for the audio files? And this would  mean a
separate drive for the whole ardour file too.
At the moment I am running everything from one hard drive on my PC. I am trying to get it running more smoothly.

Nick

It's a good idea yes. You may also want to change the disk property in fstab, to run it "noatime", to add to other answers.
Good luck !
Fred
