If it weren't for the fact that it's actually possible to archive
an ardour session onto something as small as a DVD disc, then
this discussion could simply follow the lines of any other
backup, crash recovery, bare-metal recovery discussion.  There's
already a lot of thoughts on that, and maybe we'd all learn a
bunch from looking up best practices at, and surrounding, our own
scale of data.
