Hm? I can't program for Linux, but I didn't think of programming e.g. an
old C64 to receive MIDI control change and transform it to SysEx. Is it
what you did, convert control change to sysEx or is it possible to
program the NANOCONTROL directly to send SysEx (and calculating a
checksum if needed)?

Anyway, it's great that Ardour2 is able to use it easily for the mixer.
