i doubt that. but you only need to add the "debian" directory to build a 
package, that's where the building tools look for patches and instructions 
(especially the "rules" file, "control" for dependecies, and "changelog" for 
the version number). so you could try the latest *.debian.tar.gz, probably 
with adjustments to "changelog". if the building process didn't change it 
should work.

you can get the tarballs at http://packages.debian.org/sid/jackd2
i just trimmed the URLs.
