Dear Ardour Users,

I known, this is probably a jackd issue, but I cannot find any kind of
information about this on the net.

I'm using Ardour on Ubuntu, with Jack2 and an USB Maya 44 SE sound card.

All works fine and I'm happy for quality and latency, but after a
while that the whole system is running (playing or recording) the
audio quality become degraded, with many groaks and I must stop&start
Jack daemon to return to a normal situation.

If I ignore the groaks and continue to record, there are no problem of
quality in the recorded track (of course, I must restart Jackd in
order to listen the track without the groaks), but is very difficult
record listening a bad track.

I know that there are a similar problem with ubuntu and integrated
audio cards, because it try to send in sleep che driver, but this is
not the case (I think).
The audio card is an external USB one and I've not any power_save
parameters in my modules load configuration.

Do you have any idea about this problem or where I can check?

Thanks a lot in advantage and sorry for my orrible english :)

Best regards,
