[Ardour-Users] hear recording

Greetings,

I've got a hopefully simple question, a bit of googling and checking
the docs didn't reveal:

When recording in Ardour, how do I hear the recording as it is happening?

I've read about "monitoring" and "auditioning" in Ardour, but again,
did not find clear answers.
