Holy crap! Has anyone considered that the sheer volume of email and time wasted on debating the business model, and religious wars about software pricing and relative merits thereof, could have been used to actually fix bugs, add features, or donate money to keep Ardour going?

The worst part, I think, is that the continued bar-brawl regarding Ardour economics consumes Paul's time, making him less efficient at what everyone is paying him to do-- or debating about paying or not paying him to do.  Seems like it's been going on for years and hasn't slowed down much.
