[Ardour-Users] latency

Can anyone confirm if the stated latency in Ardour GTK2 is two way latency buffer? I've been doing some testing and this seems to be the case. The latency stated in the DAW is often half of the expected outcome, taking into consideration all other hardware and software based limitations.
