[Ardour-Users] Ardour for iPad?

Wouldn't something like this be all you'd need to have remote controlled ardour on your iPad?

I use an eee PC 701 to controll a server, via  remote X.
A big problem (especially with wifi) is, if you lose conection for too long, you also lose the ardour session.
Any way around that? (afaik vnc is slower on a lan)
Another potential problem is that (afaik) you cannot see ardour on the server screen. Can you?
