ok. thanks. just to make sure i understand:
"consolidate" operates on selected regions.
so could be used to merge regions after editing?
what happens if the consolidated regions contain holes? will the
consolidated area have a hole (i.e. conist of several disjunct regions),
or just contain silence?
"bounce" operates on tracks.
it will take one or more selected tracks and re-record them into a new
region, either with or without processing (i.e. plugins).
how are (cross-)fades handled during bounce? will they always be
applied, or only "with processing"?
