[Ardour-Users] Pro Tools (hardware) compatibility

Last I used a Digi piece of hardware, they do not use CoreAudio(Or rather
they use their own version of it which doesn't really work completely). I
could get them to register with a bit of work but couldn't get good audio
output from them.
This is obviously on OS X.
