[Ardour-Users] 'add existing audio' level fader

when auditioning sound files in the import (add existing audio) window
I tried to assign the level fader on the right hand side to a MIDI 
controller
it seemed as though it partially allows you to do this
but doesn't actually complete the binding or recognize the controller data

but when you try to import a sound file after attempting this Ardour crashes

I replicated this behavior several times in Ardour 2.7.1 on my Ubuntu laptop
