The clients who hire me don't care one way or the other how I get a job 
done for them.  They just care (and rightly so) that it's done to their 
satisfaction.  In a nutshell, as long as it sounds good and is done on 
time/on budget, then they're happy.  Linux and Ardour have had a central 
role in my workflow for about a year and a half and that will grow once I 
finish my new live recording rig.  I'm something of a perfectionist, so if 
I wasn't happy with how my finished product sounded in Ardour, I would be 
using something else now because I wouldn't be comfortable putting a 
product out to my clients....
