[Ardour-Users] Could this solve Ardour's financial headache?

I knew what Mantis was (from lurking here) and wasn't surprised to
find it where it was (because of previous experience with bug trackers
and bounties being related) but still don't see an easy way to view
bounties and I didn't, in an admittedly brief search, see any
suggestions that bounties are encouraged or even appropriate. I'd
suggest a limited focus on that, possibly explaining the general
amounts and effort appropriate for different kinds of issues.

Personally I'll happily donate free and clear in the future, but
probably after I start doing DAW work in Linux (not paid work, just
even recording a song or whatever). I don't think a bounty would be
appropriate for my issue since my Presonus Faderport that I love
doesn't work in Linux. I'm aware that drivers are separate from
applications and not part of Ardour : )

I think Ardour is a great product and wish more people supported it to
make it even better.
