1) when using mailing lists, please be sure to ALWAYS use your mail
program's "Reply-To-All" feature.
2) to work at 96kHz, you need an audio interface that can do this. the
one that is builtin to the computer cannot.
3) not sure about what might have happened with conversion - it would
be necessary for you to install some
      other software on your computer and/or provide a sample of one
of the files in order to know more.
