Could you please run the command 'id' to re-verify your uid or gid
matches whats in your limits.conf file? It could be as simple as
a small typo in your group name or something.
The other thing is that you will need to logoff and back in for
the limits.conf to take effect (I think).
Im sure you've probably already done this, but it never hurts
to double check.

well, its certainly not correct. JACK is still reporting that you (the
user starting JACK) do not have permission to use realtime scheduling.
this means that limits.conf is not setup correctly.
