Until now I don't like any free Linux MIDI sequencer because they aren't 
construed for professional needs in contrast to Cubase for the Atari. 
I'm missing functions like fixing tracks in the timing for video setting 
or the possibility to mute segments and many other features. As I have 
heard Ardour3 will support at least one of those functions. Apparent the 
classic Ardour HD recording should be able to mute segments. My idea is 
to follow the development of the sequencer by testing it. Won't it be 
good if users will test even very unstable versions, so that they can 
suggest what they think is fine and what not? I'm not thinking of 
packaging it for a distro. Be that as it may ...
