[Ardour-Users] RME FireFace question

The Multiface II uses a PCI interface (which you must purchase
separately) or can be used as a standalone ADAT interface. Oddly
enough, the Multiface II uses a Firewire cable to connect to the PCI
interface, but uses a proprietary protocol and not ieee1394.
