[Ardour-Users] Ardour 2.5 crash on session load

Hi folks,

Just a quick note about http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=2346
... I will be unavailable at work when the usual suspects are around
in the #ardour channel, but nostarLT suggested I send a message here
and note that he thinks my  libgnomecanvas is somehow broken, or maybe
something elsewhere in gtk.

Oh, and this is gentoo on an amd64.
uname -a:
Linux kermit 2.6.24-rt1amd64-preempt-noapic #1 PREEMPT RT Sun Jun 22
16:45:34 EDT 2008 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+
AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

I'm going to try recompiling the whole ssystem overnight and see if
that helps. (emerge --emptytree world)
Will report back afterward. Meanwhile I would appreciate any other
troubleshooting suggestions or solutions!
