I haven't begun to discover all the changes, but I noticed the level
meters right away. I really like that; it works great on my crowded
17" CRT so that I don't struggle to see both the editor and mixer
windows at once all the time.

It works quite well here! Here is in part defined as jack 0.102.5,
qjackctl 0.2.21, on a Mandriva 2007.0 distribution using an SMP
2.6.17.14 kernel to support the Athlon 64-X2.

I do have one odd observation. I was changing track names in the
mixer strips of the mixer window. If I finished my editing with a
return key to accept the new name, then some of the time ardour would
stall for many seconds, never as much as a minute, before closing the
track editing window and accepting the new name. If I finished the
editing by clicking on the button to accept the new name, then the
editing window would always close right away. That seems a little
funny to me.

Nice work Paul & all!
