[Ardour-Users] Scripted export of a region?

I have a weekly vocal recording that I make using Ardour. I would like to
automate the process of exporting it from Ardour to WAV and MP3 formats for
distribution to CD and Podcast.

Is there a way to automatically (via a script) convert an Ardour region or
set of regions to the WAV format (I can script the rest of the conversions
with little trouble)?
