[Ardour-Users] Track / channel ordering

I've a feeling I asked this question once before and someone answered - but 
I couldn't understand their solution.....

Sometime (esp. after adding new tracks to a session) the next time I load 
it, the editor tracks (and corresponding mixer channels) get jumbled up. 
For example, if they were previously named 'Audio 1' thru 'Audio 8' I can 
end up with Audio 1 at the top of the editor window, then Audio 8, then 
Audio 7, then Audio 3.  The corresponding mixer channels are similarly 
jumbled.  Audio 1 on the left, then Audio 8, then Audio 7, then Audio 3.

Is there any simple way to re-order the tracks and channels?
