Obviously I didn't know about that dialog :-)

Anyways, not the marker is set correctly. However ardour still allows me 
to scroll to 27 hours. This makes it extremely difficult to navigate my 
humble 3:30 mins. Isn't the end marker what tells ardour how far to 
allow the user to scroll?
