[Ardour-Users] Ardour and Leopard

I've noticed that all I have to do is hand start X11. There were some
pretty big changes to X11 in Leopard I guess... once I do start X11 by
hand, everything else seems fine.
The other problem you may run into is you can't set Jack to be the
sound device in OS X at the moment. Jack apps can all talk to each
other fine, and you can route sound to coreaudio, but you can't patch
other apps in (like iTunes). I just finished a project last week using
Ardour and Jamin without a problem

Hope that helps.

“Every composer – at all times and in all cases – gives his own
interpretation of how modern society is structured: whether actively
or passively, consciously or unconsciously, he makes choices in this
regard. He may be conservative or he may subject himself to continual
renewal; or he may strive for a revolutionary, historical or social
palingenesis." - Luigi Nono
