[ardour-users] LADSPA plugins takes much resourses ?

I have changed from 64Studio to UbuntuStudio, and then got Ardour 2.0. After
I've changed I have a problem using LADSPA effectplugins on my tracks when
mixing them down. If I use 2 ore more effects my computer freezes and there
is no way out other than power off. This problem wasn't there on my 64Studio
setup ?

My computer is an AthlonXP 1800

Can somone help me out here.
