Hm, I use a PC Card extreme Firewire/USB Combi card due to the buggy
Ricoh-chipset in my thinkpad.

It's labelled as

DeLOCK Express Card 1x USB 2.0 + 2 x FireWire A

Hm, its not exactly a PC Card, but it worked out of the box under
openSuSE 10.2 with the OHCI-driver and my Edirol FA-101 via freebob, so
if you have a PC Card extreme slot I can recommend it.

BTW: Shows up in lspci as:

FireWire (IEEE 1394): Texas Instruments XIO2200(A) IEEE-1394a-2000
Controller (PHY/Link) (rev 01) (prog-if 10 [OHCI])
