Thanks Taybin. I did manage to find the blue edit head but for the life of
me, I can't remember what I did to make it appear. How do you make it
appear & disappear? Also, a couple of other things....

1) When I drag an edit point (to trim it) what's the significance of the
large numbers that keep appearing? I assume they're some kind of time
reference so are they 'customisable' (e.g. to display midi time or SMPTE
time) ?

2) When replaying a sequence, is there an option to make the timeline
scroll, instead of the play head? Most of the 'pro' DAW's seem to work
that way, these days.

3) This page of the Ardour manual:-

http://www.ardour.org/files/manual/sn-mixer-window.html

shows the mixer channels as having sliders that look like a conventional,
real-world slider (i.e. with a 'touchable' knob). However, my build of
Ardour doesn't have these. The sliders look rather like a bargraph or
a vertical progress bar. Is that just a design feature that's changed in
Ardour 2 or has something gone wrong with my build?

Thanks again,

John
