I'm running.99 on a Ubuntu/Demudi system. I've read that you automatically get lower latency when logged in as root - is this true? If so, why? If not true, how do I check/get lower latency? I've got the buffer in JACK set to 128 I think - 64 will sometimes give Ardour an xrun. tom
