Paul.  I think you left out a word ( or a number, really) in your
response.  Shouldn't it say "if there are only two regions in an
overlap..."??

Already done that way in 3.0, hence my confusion. There are still layers
but they are only use when there are overlaps. if there are only regions
in an overlap, and thats the only overlap in a playlist, there are only
2 layers in the playlist.
