[Ardour-Users] multichannel playback noisy on osx / ardour 2.0.5

hi,

playback of audio files (at least 8-channel interleaved) is broken on  
osx / ardour 2.0.5. they kind of get played back correctly but are  
overlayed by strange pop / crackle and hiss sound, sounds like it was  
played back from a really old vinyl player... the file i used is 24- 
bit AIFF 44.1 kHz, plays back well in any other program.
