To those who helped me yesterday on irc, thanks.  I got the master channel 
set up as 2 channels and got the panning working, and even think it makes 
sense to me now (-:

mixed down 2 tracks for the artist to review today, and am starting to 
have fun instead of learning curve nightmares.  thanks
