But probably only as long as someone writes a HOWTO for Torben Hohn's
netjack: http://netjack.sourceforge.net/

At the LAC he did an "El-very-expensivo"-multichannel-soundcard with
the single channels provided by several networked laptops bound
together through netjack into one soundstream.
