Thanks!!!
I indeed used ardour for it. They're actually old mixes but not much has changed. The one song "evil deeds" was started in pro tools and finished in pro tools, but I know I could have achieved the same sound quality using ardour.
Hardware....M-Audio Delta 66, Mackie vlz1204 (for mic pres and to conrtol speaker volume), umm a $100 Studio Projects condenser mic, Roland MC-505 for the music (maybe in my testing of aroudr 2 I will snake all the drum kits from this and prepare samples for using with hydrogen), I also have a Midisport 2x2 but wasn't used for this one. For the beats I recorded in individual instruments from the MC 505 for each song. (drum parts were split to seprate instruments as well).
The vocals were recorded in a hallway closet believe it or not. We just double tracked em' to try and get a better sound. Then we did another vocal track for accents on certain rhymes and phrases.
Thanks for your input. I really really appreciate it.
Mike
