vanilla kernel 2.6.15.1
 alsa 1.0.10
 jack 0.100.7
 qjackctl 0.2.19a

Well I thought i had my problem fixed... close but no cigar... and i actually think the last message I sent did not go to the list but rather an indivual (sorry i forgot who)...

Anyway. I got the alsa drivers to work again. and i thought jack was working to... nope... here's what happens when i try to start jack...

I have the realtime-lsm package installed and loaded... so I don't understand why I can't use realtime as a normal user... perhaps i'm missing something in my kernel config? I have no clue... and for the record my /usr/src/linux points to the right place.

 Thank you in advance,

 mike
