Ok this has got me a little curious...

I was wondering as to the feasibility of wiring two machines together 
for the purpose of using one as a dedicated DSP processor.

Specificly I am going to be picking up a Mac Mini for other reasons, and 
was wondering if it is feasible to wire it to my Linux box via firewire 
and use it to run VST plugs.  Unfortunatly the Mini only has Firewire 
400, but I am increasingly curious about this, if there is any software 
out to do this(I believe Jack on OSX has netjack? but not linux?) or if 
it is even feasible at this time to write software to do this.

At any rate I figured at least for me this would be a nice way of 
getting VST compatibility by using a peice of hardware I will already be 
getting for other reasons.
