[ardour-users] ardour 0.99 start-up

I'm wondering if I built ardour correctly.  Back when I was using 
beta30, if I didn't have jack running, then qjackctl would open and I 
could start jack before proceeding.  With 0.99 I get a message saying 
that I should start jack, but qjackctl doesn't start.  Maybe that's a 
good thing.  But, I'd like the prior behavior.  Did I do something 
wrong?  Is there a way to get the prior behavior?
