[ardour-users] nan prevention

hi all,

i'm currently having problems with rather unstable ladspa plugins
(namely tap eq, that may get unstable when using it when unmuting a bus)

since there are some unstable ladspa plugins (especially filters), have
you been thinking about some kind of nan prevention, like bashing
everything above 1e20 to 0 or something similar? although this might be
the job of the plugin, i'm not sure, if it's sufficient to rely on
that ... (the expenses shouldn't be to high, it's possible to vectorize
this operation)
