[ardour-users] Sound Replacer?

Fellow ardourphiles,

Does anyone know of a LADSPA plugin that accomplishes something similar to the Sound Replacer in Pro Tools? I.e., you have a track with a crummy snare drum that you'd like to replace with a sampled snare, but you don't want to manually paste the sample over each real drum hit.

Or is there a better way to accomplish this with ardour?
