You can try also planet ccrma, this is a set of rpm tools and programs
based on fedora core, provides a custom low latency realtime
kernel/alsa/jack plus audio/video applications.

It is really easy to install even without a direct internet connection,
all you need is a fedora (actually a core 3 on i386) box.

A core 4 build should start this week.
