[ardour-users] AMD motherboard recommendations please?

Hi
I'm using Ardour with a AMD 64 chip running 32 bit, I gig ram.
Is there a big difference soundwise in Ardour running 64 bit?

Also what distro would you think would run this better at 64 bit.
