Ok, this is the "ghost waveform" you are talking about. A ghost of what 
the automation is applied to. I vaguely remember this and that changing 
the zoom factor changed the symptom somewhat. I'm not sure. Some time 
ago.

Sure thing though that I don't have ghost waveforms anymore (current 
cvs). What have I done?
