yes copies would be good

yes i am able to send MIDI at least - but not with Ardour - ecasound though
sees it - but I snooped on ardour start up and lo and behold it is indeed
saying "no midi port defined" - i wasn't seeing this cuz it scrolls by -
(xterm in fluxbox)
