Greetings,

 a couple o' dayz ago I downloaded Jack 0.99.0 Tarball and compiled it.Since then Ardour fails to load, saying that JACK is not running or is running for another user...I run both as root. Anyway, I was told I had to re-compile Ardour since the JACK libs were changed. I had also downloaded a Nightly Tarball (CVS from the Home Page!!?!), which I compiled yesterday. Strangely, nothing new happened, Jack seems to be running normally, but Ardour doesn't seem to connect to it! All seems to have been wrong since the JACK compiling to the latest version...

I use JACK like this: # jackd -R -d alsa -p 512 -d sblive -r 44100
Kernel ver. :2.4.27
